This is one of those 10th wedding anniversary gift ideas that's ideal for a couple who feel it's high time to spoil themselves.

* Affordable - I paid $21 for 12 at the time of this post. That's only $1.75 per gaiter!
* Lightweight - easy to breath thru, and you can decide if you want 1, 2, or 3 layers to breath through
* UV protection - Yep. This protects from the sun. The tan line on my face proves this.
* 6 colors - 2 of each of white, light grey, bright blue, navy blue, purple, black
* No pattern - easy to coordinate with any outfit. Conservative looking. Suitable for most work environments (hotel staff, office building, security, etc)
* Easy to use - just wear it around your neck all day. I do and it does not bother, nor does it make me feel any hotter. When you need to cover your face, it's right there waiting for you! No fumbling for a mask. No forgetting a mask at your desk or work station.
* Easy to clean - just put in the wash (lights with lights, darks with darks). I have not experienced any bleeding or fading although I have not had them long enough to properly make this determination. DO NOT PUT THEM IN THE DRYER! Let them air dry. Drying in the dryer could cause the fabric to "warp" which affects the seam and the life of the gaiter (know this from experience drying other gaiters). They air dry quickly in about an hour.
Cons:
* The edges will roll! This is normal and something that happens to ALL neck gaiters. You cannot get around it. Maybe light ironing would fix this, if you really feel its necessary.
* Made in China - for some this is not a con. For me it is. Although I will note that the gaiters arrived very well packed. Each in it's own plastic bag, all those bags in a vacuum sealed bag. Then inside the Amazon delivery pouch. I treated each bag like it actively infected and then immediately washed all the gaiters.
To Be Aware:
* Size - suitable for most adults. I have a 16.5" neck and when wearing around my neck (face not covered), the gaiter fits perfectly without stretching. If you neck is larger, then you may feel it tighter. Children may need to resort to modifications to make the gaiter tight enough that it will not fall down. I have gathered the excess behind my son's head and tied it off in a knot. My daughter has used a hair clip to gather any excess. My kids still use these gaiters and prefer them to any other facial covering we have found.
Over all, I recommend this product and would buy again when needed.
